Facebook is finally going to stop thrusting Candy Crush invites onto all of its users, after boss Mark Zuckerberg promised he would find a “solution” to one of the most annoying things about the platform.
The site has been gradually getting rid of some of the more spammy parts of the service, stopping people sending endless annoying notifications. But some of them are still around — including the seemingly ever-present Candy Crush invitation.
And one particularly annoyed user took Mr Zuckerberg to task ahead of a town hall meeting in India, posting on the site to ask him to stop the invites.
